Obituary of Eric William Gronski

Eric William Gronski, age 27 of Lake Township, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, December 20, 2014 at home. Mr. Gronski was born in Kingston on December 19, 1987 and was the son of David, Sr. and Kimberly Thomas Gronski of Lake Township. Eric graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 2006 and was currently employed as a machine operator for RHC Services in Hunlock Creek and also for Yankowski's Butchering, Chase. He was an avid motorcycle rider with the Dallas American Legion Riders. Eric played football while in high school and later played for the semi-pro team, the Back Mountain Mayhem. He loved his family, friends, and especially his nephew, David and his dog, Curtis. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, William Thomas. In addition to his parents, Eric is survived by brother, David John Gronski, Jr. of Harveys Lake; maternal grandmother, Pauline Thomas of Kingston; nephew, David Gronski, III. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at 10:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. Raymond D. Purdy, Jr. of the Living Word Baptist Church, Fairmount Township, officiating. Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the funeral home.
