Obituary of Stephen Stanley Sudosky

Stephen S. Sudosky, Jr., age 53 of Reyburn, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014 at Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital, Plains Twp. Mr. Sudosky was born in Kingston on December 24, 1960 and was the son of Stephen, Sr. and Helen Dulsky Sudosky of Dallas. Stephen graduated from West Side Vocational Technical School, Pringle in 1979. He was employed by Offset Paperback in Dallas for over 20 years. Stephen was an avid hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed camping, four wheeling, and all things in nature. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, the former Linda Burak; daughter, Sabrina Sudosky, at home; his sheltie, "Princess"; sisters, Denise Hackling and her husband Dale of Centermoreland and Darlene Naugle and her husband Lloyd, Jr. of Pikes Creek; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 11:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Harold Schorr of the Centermoreland United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call 9:00 - 11:00 AM on Saturday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to the SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 East Main Street, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
