Obituary of Lydia Louise Winter

Lydia Louise Winter, age 63 of Lehman Twp., passed away Sunday, December 14, 2014 at the Celtic Hospice Healthcare Inpatient Unit, Wilkes-Barre. Mrs. Winter was born in Wilkes-Barre, on December 15, 1950 and was the daughter of the late Burton and Stella Holland Schell. Lydia graduated from Dallas High School and received her associate's degree from Wilkes College. She was employed by the Tobyhanna Army Depot and retired from the Veterans Administration in Wilkes-Barre. Lydia was a member of the River of Life Fellowship, Lehman. She was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother. Lydia enjoyed traveling and shopping. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Fred Winter and brother, Burton Schell, Jr. Lydia is survived by daughter, Michelle Faillace of Edwardsville; son, Kevin Rusinko and his wife Colleen of Tunkhannock; brothers, Sheldon Schell of Pittston, Terrence Schell of Plymouth, and Mark Schell of Harveys Lake; grandchildren, Paul and Rebecca Faillace and Marissa Rusinko. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 8:00 pm from the River Of Life Fellowship, 22 Outlet Road, Lehman, PA 18627, with Pastor Kenneth Kreller, officiating. .Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
