Obituary of Lois Carolyn Kocher

Lois Carolyn Kocher, age 83, formerly of Sweet Valley, passed away Thursday, December 4, 2014 at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas. Mrs. Kocher was born in Cincinnati, OH on February 28, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Fredrick and Bessie Baumbach. Lois grew up in the Panal Canal Zone and later moved to the Outlet section of Harveys Lake where she resided for 30 years prior to moving to Mooretown in 1986. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Derwood Kocher and brother, Edwin Baumbach. Lois is survived by son, Robert Kocher of Chase; daughters, Linda Feidt-Kittle of Arizona, Darlene Hudak of Sweet Valley, Mildred Dingle of Trucksville, and Carolyn Rusonis of Sweet Valley; sisters, Ruth Lichti of Cottonwood, AZ and Ethel Messina of Owins, MD; 8 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
