Obituary of Kenneth Eugene Kocher

Kenneth E. Kocher, age 77 of Loyalville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 17, 2014 at home, surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Kocher was born in Kingston on August 28, 1937 and was the son of the late Kenneth and Madeline Begley Kocher. Kenneth was the owner and operator of a tractor trailer and worked for various companies. He was known as a "Jack of all trades". Kenneth was a member of the George M. Dallas Lodge, 531 the Irem Shriners and the Irem Motor Corps. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, the former Nancy Croman; son, Kenneth Kocher and his wife Mary Lou of Loyalville; daughter, Patricia Freeman and her husband Harry of North Carolina; grandchildren, Amanda, Kenneth, Jr., and Kyle. Funeral services will be held Monday, November 24, 2014 at 10:00 am from the Northmoreland Baptist Church, 21 Ripple Brook Road, Tunkhannock (Centermoreland), PA 18657 with Pastor Kurt Seboe, officiating. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the Frank and Dorothea Henry Cancer Center, 1000 E. Mountain Blvd., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702 or the Shriner's Transportation Fund, 64 Ridgeway Dr. Dallas, PA 18612.
