Obituary of Viola Myrtle Robbins

Viola "Butch" Robbins, age 75 of Noxen, passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at the Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg, Allentown.
Mrs. Robbins was born in Noxen on December 22, 1938 and was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Miner Blizzard.
Viola graduated from the former Lake-Noxen High School in 1956 and was employed by General Cigar Co. in Edwardsville and also Encon Corp. in Dallas. She was an active member of the St. Luke's Reformation Church in Noxen, the Noxen Volunteer Fire and Ambulance Ladies Auxillary, the Noxen Historical Society, and the Noxen-Monroe Sports Association. Viola was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and aunt.
In addition her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Elwood, Art, Harold, James, Roy, and Stearl Blizzard.
Viola is survived by her husband of 44 years, John E. Robbins; daughter, Thelma Moyer and her husband Gary of Allentown; step-son, John E. Robbin, Jr. and his wife Brenda of Dickson City; grandchildren, Adam and Jennifer Moyer, John and Deanna Robbins; great-grandchildren, Phoenix and Taylor Moyer; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 at 12:00 pm from the St. Luke's Reformation Lutheran Church, 196 Main St., Noxen, PA 18636, with Marty Everhart officiating.
Friends may call 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Saturday at the church prior to the service.
Private interment will be in the Orcutt's Grove Cemetery, Noxen.
