Obituary of Earlene L. Schweiss

Earlene L. Schweiss, age 69 of Lake Silkworth, passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 at home. Mrs. Schweiss was born in Kingston on September 3, 1945 and was the daughter of the late Earl and Elizabeth Morris Layaou. Earlene graduated from Dallas High School in 1963. She was employed as a security guard for the Red Rock Job Corps Center for 26 years. Earlene was currently employed in the Deli Department at Mountain Fresh Super Market in Sweet Valley. She was a member of the Dallas Baptist Church, Idetown. Earlene is survived by son, Randy Schweiss and companion, Kim Edwards of Hunlock Creek; sisters, Esther Tweedle of Mountaintop and Annjane Cochran of Lehman; grandchildren, Devin and Alyssa Schweiss and Alexa Edwards. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2014 at 8:00 pm from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Jerry Branch of the Dallas Baptist Church, officiating. Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM prior to the service on Wednesday.
