Obituary of Virginia Mae Gennetts

Virginia Gennetts, age 88, of Loyalville, passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014, at Golden Living Center, East Mountain, Wilkes-Barre.
Mrs. Gennetts was born on October 30, 1925, in Luzerne County, and was the daughter of the late Victor and Esther Evans Brown.
Virginia had a genuine love for family and a quick wit which made everyone she touched feel special. Quilting, sewing, gardening, and ceramics were just a few of her treasured hobbies. Virginia worked at Offset Paperback as a copywriter and proofreader, retiring after many years of dedicated service.
Virginia was preceded in death by husband; William Gennetts: son; Michael Gennetts; daughter: Victoria Cadwalader; sister: Marjorie Sorber and brother: James Brown.
She is survived by daughters, Karen Anglovich and her husband, Andrew, of Harveys Lake, and Bonny Lopasky and her husband, Richard, of Spring Hill, Fla.; grandchildren, Lori Ringo, Rocky Lopasky, Thomas Cadwalader Jr., Jason Cadwalader, Matthew Cadwalader and Emily Anglovich; great-grandchildren, Thomas Cadwalader III, Hayden Cadwalader, Evie Cadwalader, Lauren Cadwalader, Victoria Cadwalader, Wyatt Lopasky, Grace Ringo and Katharine Ringo.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, September 27, 2014 at 11 a.m., from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with her nephew, Walter "Chip" Sorber, officiating.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday.
A private interment will be at the Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Loyalville.
