Obituary of David Lee Mulligan

David Lee Mulligan, age 64 of Noxen, passed away Sunday, August 10, 2013 at his home. Mr. Mulligan was born in Noxen on February 5, 1950 and was the son of the late Bernard and Beatrice Newell Mulligan. He resided in Noxen for all of his life and graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 1968. He was the owner and operator of the former Mulligan's Market in Noxen until 1976 and was later employed by Local 798 as a pipeline welder retiring in 2005. David is survived by brother, John Mulligan; sisters, Teresa Harris and Dawn Tuttle all of Noxen, also 6 nephews, two nieces, and 10 great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Joel Mitchell of the Noxen Bible Baptist Church, officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 PM, Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Orcutt's Grove Cemetery, Noxen. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the donor of their choice.
