Obituary of Aaron David Setzer

Aaron David Setzer, age 24 of Hunlock Creek, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, July 5, 2014. Aaron was born in Kingston on October 9, 1989 and was the son of Eugene and Coleen Evarts Setzer of Pikes Creek. He excelled in football all through his high school years at Lake-Lehman High School, graduating in 2009. Aaron received his diesel mechanic certificate from Universal Technical Institute and was employed by Medico Industries, Cleveland Brothers in Wilkes-Barre, and was currently employed locally for PVR, San Antonio, TX. Aaron was an outgoing, fun loving generous person who had many friends. He was close to his family especially his brothers and sisters. Aaron was a good son to his Mom and Dad and was a loving and caring father to his son, Levi. He loved to hunt and fish and was a member of the South Mountain Land Association. Aaron is preceded in death by his girlfriend, Chelsea Engle. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a son, Levi Setzer; brother, Joshua Setzer of Hunlock Creek; sisters, Doreen Grochal of Warrior Run and Sarah Setzer of Pikes Creek; paternal grandparents, Pastor Eugene Setzer, Sr. of Wilkes-Barre and Beverly Conrad of Northumberland; maternal grandparents, David and Dorothy Bottoms of Centermoreland; niece, Emma. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 10, 2014 at 12:00 noon from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Raymond D. Purdy, Jr. of the Living Word Baptist, Sweet Valley, officiating. Private interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek. Friends may call 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
