Obituary of Mildred Rose Felix

Mildred Rose Felix, age 88 formerly of Philadelphia, moving to Sweet Valley and later residing in Dallas, passed away Sunday, May 4, 2014 at the Bonham's Nursing Center, Stillwater.
Mrs. Felix was born in Wilkes-Barre on January 26, 1926 and was the daughter of the late Howard and Marion Shaver Smith.
She attended the Stillwater Christian Church and loved playing bingo and watching game shows. Mildred was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by husband, William Felix; brothers, Howard Smith, Jr. and Donald Smith; sisters, Doris Bartley, Lois Keller, and Shirley Smith.
Mildred is survived by sons, Charles Owens and his wife Rosanne of Sweet Valley and William Felix and his wife Jennifer of Sweet Valley; daughters, Suszette Townsend of Williamstown, NJ, and Renee Hughes of Bensalem, PA; brother, David Smith of Sewell, NJ; grandchildren, Melissa, Mark and his wife Kim, Michael, Janine Gorman and her husband John, Kristen, Charles and his wife Becky, Jeanna Nevel and her husband Todd, Christina, and Stefani; 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 1:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Scott Lyons of the Stillwater Christian Church, officiating.
Friends may call from 11:00 PM - 1:00 PM prior to the service.
Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to be made to the Bonham's Nursing Center Activities Fund, 477 Bonnieville Rd. Stillwater, PA 17878.
