Carol Louise May, age 71 of Noxen, passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2014 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Plains Twp.

Mrs. May was born in Meshoppen on May 28, 1942 and was the daughter of the late Oscar and Katherine Adam Eyet.

Carol was a loving wife and mother.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Scott May and brother, Charles Eyet.

Carol is survived by her husband of 52 years, Earl T. May; children, Vicki Coolbaugh and her husband Jerry of Centermoreland, Alfred May of Newfoundland, PA, Kenneth May of Beaumont, and Kevin May at home; 8 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 23, 2014 at 8:00 pm from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. L. D. Reed of the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, Harveys Lake, officiating.

Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
