I am only now reading about the passing of this great man. I remember fondly our times with the Luzerne County Community College band and the many concerts I had the honor of participating in with him. The many times Lenny, Jason, Mr. Miliauskas, and myself would visit the local doughnut shop after practice on Thursday nights are remembered fondly. Rest in peace. Michael Andrusis

Our friend, and mentor, what an honor for him to ask of me, "Call me Lenny". As an adult it was still hard not to acknowledge him with the respect of Mr. He was one who not only taught but inspired the love of life and music in his students. His methods were not like everyone's but you remembered what he said to you.
My friend Jane, I feel your loss deeply because I know how in sync you two were and how much he depended on you. My hugs and sympathy to you.
Darice, my friend and company in crime! I am saddened for you, your Mom and the rest of the "D" clan. Connections like those we shared have a special corner in our minds. We go to those special corners in times of joy and sadness. The Joy helps to heal the sad, and also aids us in crossing the bridge of forgiveness.
Please know that I am here, and would be honored to be your shoulder, your crutch, if and when you need me.
God blessed us to know Lenny and this knowing brought us into each others lives.
Most sincerely yours, Helen.
