Obituary of Rose Mary Chaney

Rose Mary Chaney, age 95 of Sweet Valley, passed way Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas, where she resided for the last 5 years. Mrs. Chaney was born in Winburne on February 18, 1919 and was the daughter of the late Andrew and Roselle Istvan. Rose moved to Woodbridge, NJ as a child, where she was a lifelong resident. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Frank S. Chaney, daughter: Rosemarie; son, Francis Chaney, Jr., grandson, Billy, and brothers, Lewis, Andrew, and Joseph Istvan. She is survived by son, Robert Chaney of Sweet Valley; son-in law, James Laurin of Sagamore Hills, OH; 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. As per Rose's wishes, there will be no services or calling hours. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
