Obituary of Robert James Jackson

Robert James Jackson, age 96 formerly of Harveys Lake and Mooretown, passed away Thursday, February 20, 2014 at the Bonham's Nursing Center, Stillwater, where he was a guest for the last 5 years. Mr. Jackson was born at Harveys Lake on June 22, 1917 and was the son of the late James Garfield and Fannie Perrego Jackson. He was self-employed as a wood pattern maker and resided in Mooretown for most of his life. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Alford Jackson, and sisters, Dorothy Jackson and Esther Grey. Robert is survived by nieces and nephews: Donald Grey, Linda Montross, Howard Grey, David Jackson, Danny Jackson, and Janice Jackson. Funeral services will be private and held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
