Obituary of David Lee Covert

David Lee "Duck" Covert, age 61 of Lake Silkworth, passed away Monday, May 20, 2013 at home. Mr. Covert was born in Wilkes-Barre on May 16, 1952 and was the son of the late Kenneth and Mildred Lee Covert. David graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 1970 and was self-employed as a carpenter for many years. He enjoyed NASCAR, the game show network and was a New York Yankee fan. Mr. Covert is survived by a daughter, Bambi Covert of Sweet Valley, son, David Covert, Jr. of Lake Silkworth, daughter, Aprille Covert of Sweet Valley, daughter, Crystal Savage of Lake Silkworth; brothers, Kenneth Covert, Jr. of Harveys Lake, Donald Covert of Dallas, Larry Covert of Dallas, and James Covert of Loyalville; sister, Janet Carey of Noxen; grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Jonathan, Kortnie, Abria, and Brayden. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc, corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
