Obituary of Peter W. Nauks

Peter W. Nauks, age 70 of Dallas, passed away Monday, May 13, 2013 at home. Mr. Nauks was born in Germany on April 5, 1943 and was the son of the late Angestellter and Helene Karallus Naujoks. Peter graduated from Cicero High School in Illinois and served in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a Teleprocessing Coordinator for Standard Brand Foods, Nabisco, and retired from Altria, in Chicago and Hanover. Peter enjoyed touring and seeing the beauty of Pennsylvania's National Parks. He was an avid bird lover and especially loved his pet cockatiel, "Skippy". Mr. Nauks is survived by a sister, Irene Liebenstein of Germany; niece, Andrea of Germany; good friends, Karen Simmons of Lake Township and Harriet Peace of Chicago, Illinois. A memorial service will be held Sunday, May 19, 2013 at 3:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corners of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. Richard Womer, pastor of the Tunkhannock Baptist Church officiating. Friends may call from 2 PM - 3 PM prior to the service
