Linda Rae Piatt Brown of Wilmington , North Carolina passed away on December 20th ,2024.

Linda was born on April 28, 1947 and was raised at Pikes Creek.

She was a 1965 graduate of Lake-Lehman High School. Following graduation she was a Rotary exchange student to Sweden. She then attended Wilkes-Barre Business School . She moved to Ohio where she lived for many years before retiring to Wilmington, North Carolina. She was legal secretary for many years and a real estate agent.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard L Piatt Sr , her mother, Dolores J Piatt, brothers, Howard L Piatt Jr, Bob W Piatt, and Thomas P Piatt.

She is survived by her Son, Bradford L Brown and fiancé Lee , of Wilmington, NC and daughter, Melissa A Johnson and husband Michael of Mt Prospect, IL, Grandsons, Orion A Brown, Jacob W Brown , both of Wilmington, NC, Granddaughters, Annie Rae and Lea Frances Johnson, both of Mt Prospect, IL, Siblings , Alice Jean Martin, Lonnie Piatt , Virginia Ide, and Deborah Piatt all of Pennsylvania and Nancy Piatt of Salmon , Idaho.

No memorial service is planned but the family would appreciate it if you would share your memories of Linda.
