Please share a memory of Cheryl to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Cheryl Ann Dragon, age 63 of Harvey's Lake, left this beautiful world the evening of Sunday, September 22, 2024 in her home following a courageous battle of cancer.
She was born in Kearny, NJ on February 17, 1961 and is the daughter of William Addeo of Kearny, NJ and Jean McKlean of Harvey's Lake.
Cheryl graduated from Lake-Lehman High School, Class of 1979 and then went on to earn her associate's degree in health science and secretary science from Luzerne County Community College. She worked in the dental field for many years, spending the last 22 years working under Penny Mericle at Brace Place Orthodontics in Forty Fort.
Cheryl was recently inducted into the Lake-Lehman Wrestling Hall of Fame for her many years of dedication and service to the organization. In her free time, Cheryl enjoyed traveling to new places and spending time with her family and grandchildren. She got great joy from watching her granddaughter, Reese compete in the world of all star cheerleading and hugs from her grandson, Nash made her eyes light up.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Mark Dragon, her Father in Law, Peter Dragon and her stepfather, John Zimnicky.
Left to cherish her memory, in addition to her parents are her three children, Deanna, Mirina and Derek Dragon, siblings, Suzanne Cicchetti and William Addeo Jr, Mother in law, Gertrude Dragon, grandchildren, Reese Payne and Nash Cragle and countless nieces, nephews, and friends.
Cheryls true passion was to help others, showing kindness in various forms. She continued to put others before herself even while battling a terrible disease. She was a true warrior, and while we mourn the loss of Cheryl, we also celebrate the life that she lived. Her memory will forever live on in our hearts and remind us to help others whenever we can.
