Mary Jane Jiovino, age 87 of Harveys Lake, formerly of North Plainfield, NJ, passed away Friday, August 16, 2024 at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas.

She was born in Somerville, NJ on June 21, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Fred and Sadie Gunn.

Mary attended North Plainfield High School, North Plainfield, NJ and worked at Thermionic Products in North Plainfield for 30 years. She never had any children of her own but considered her cousins as her kids. Mary loved everything Elvis and spending time at Lake Jean with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph George Jiovino who passed away in 2015.

Mary is survived by cousins, Ed and Fred Gunn and their families; sister, June Updyke of Arizona.

Private interment will be held at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
