Michael Antonio Company, age 22 of Shavertown, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2024. He was born in Wilkes-Barre on February 18, 2002 and was the son of Kenneth and Molly Company of Shavertown. Michael graduated from Lake-Lehman High School, class of 2020. He was an apprentice at Smart Local Union No. 44 and worked at J & E Sheetmetal. Michael was a member of the SCCA Sports Car Club of America and the Giants Despair Hillclimb Association. He loved to race and had a special talent for welding and engine building. He was preceded in death by maternal grandfather, Theodore D. Hughes; paternal grandfather, Miguel Company. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by brother, Josh Company; paternal grandmother, Runa Company; maternal grandmother, Robert Hughes; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. A private celebration of life service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. Memorial donations can be made to Giants Despair Hill Climb Association, 2992 Laurel Run Rd., Bear Creek Twp., PA 18702. The family would like to thank all their friends and family for their loving support during this difficult time.
