Charlotte L. Irwin, age 80 of Hanover Township, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre, with her family by her side.

She was born on January 3, 1944 in Newark, NJ, and was the daughter of the late Charles Riley and Marie Lord.

Charlotte was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She loved playing bingo at Swoyersville Volunteer Fire Company, and enjoyed listening to music, especially Willie Nelson.

Charlotte is survived by her husband, James Burke; children, Kenny Irwin, Richie Irwin, Charlotte Pritchard, Kathy Pritchard, Josephine Pritchard, LeRoy Pritchard; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Linda McDermott, officiating.
