Edward Petroski, age 85 of Sweet Valley, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2024 at home.

He was born on August 31, 1939 and was the son of the late Dominick and Jenny Petroski

Edward was an avid outdoorsman and NASCAR enthusiast. He was a provider and mentor for his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Edward loved his family and his dog, Evey. He was always good for a smile and a laugh with his, at times, inappropriate humor, and will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Evelyn; sisters, Irene and Rita; and brothers, Tommy, Joe, Louis, and Henry.

Edward is survived by children, Jeannette Sayre, Donna Kiefer, and Bradley and Jeffrey Petroski; sister, Jay Pall; 4 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at 6:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Carol Folk of the Loyalville United Methodist Church, officiating.

Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
