William Lewis Keefe Jr. Obituary

William "Bill" L. Keefe, Jr., age 66 of Noxen, passed away Thursday, April 4, 2024 at Penn State Holy Spirit, Camp Hill.



He was born in Wilkes-Barre on September 18, 1957 and was the son of the late William, Sr. and Charlotte Siglin Keefe.



Bill attended Lake-Lehman and West Side Technical School, Pringle. He retired from the Benton Foundry, after working for 42 years. Bill was a member of the National Wild Turkey Federation and the South Mountain Land Association. He was an avid fisherman and hunter, especially hunting turkeys. Bill was an avid Penn State, Miami Dolphins, and Phillies fan. He was a loving father, brother, uncle and grandfather.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sister, Roxanne Frasier; grandmother, Roxie Siglin.



Bill is survived by his sons, Cody Keefe (Ashley) and Lou Keefe; brother, Gary Keefe (Linda); sister, Natalie Coolbaugh (Edward); grandchildren, Kayden and Marlie; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.



Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Nate Weaver of the Noxen United Methodist Church, officiating.



Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.



Interment will be in Chapel Lawn Memorial Park, Dallas.




In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Noxen Community Center, 3600 State Route 29S, Noxen, PA 18636.
