Robert Anthony Yeninas Obituary

Robert "Bob" Yeninas, age 80 of Hunlock Creek, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center.



He was born in Wilkes-Barre on February 16, 1944 and was the son of the late Anthony and Veronica Yeninas.



Bob served in the US Air Force as a Morris Code translator. He worked as a maintenance technician at the former Mercy Hospital, mechanic at Lamoreaux Auto and later a maintenance technician at 3 Springs Water. Bob was a proud member of the NRA and VFW. He enjoyed shooting guns and spending time with his friends.



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Frank and sister, Mary.



Bob is survived by brothers, Jerome and Tony; sisters, Angela Smith, Nancy Meeker, and Carol Raiter; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.



A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, March 24, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
