John Charles Cavanaugh Obituary

John Charles Cavanaugh, age 70 of Ross Township, passed away Monday, March 4, 2024 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.



He was born in Philadelphia on January 7, 1954 and was the son of the late Helen M. and Paul Cavanaugh.



John attended the Seventh-Day Adventist School in East Stroudsburg, where he studied wood working. He was employed by Mac Printing of East Stroudsburg and provided "The Witness" periodical and booklets for the Twin Towers. John also worked at ADT Security Systems, and finally retired from Weiler Brush. John enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, inventing, and playing with his grandchildren.



John is survived by his wife of 34 years, Anna Catherine Cavanaugh; daughter, Missie Wilkinson and her 2 children, Taylor and Logan Wilkinson, and their father, Glenn Wilkinson; Jill Domena and her husband Joe, and their children, TJ and Jillyan Rivera and Joey Domena, Jr; Jamie Walsh and her husband Scott, and their children, Sawyer ,Thomas, and John Walsh and Scott's daughter, Makenzi Walsh; and great-grandchildren, Brendan James Campillo and Auggie and EverLyng Rivera.



Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.



Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
