Matthew Robert Collura Obituary
Matthew R. Collura, age 73 of Sweet Valley, passed away Friday, February 2, 2024 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
He was born in Kingston on July 15, 1950 and was the son of the late Matthew and Verne Collura.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Collura.
Matthew is survived by his wife of 51 years, the former Christine Piskorik; sons, Matthew and his wife Kerry Ann, Todd and Josh Collura; grandsons, Ethan and Tyler Collura; step-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Ryan Kopiak; step great-grandson, Asher Raffensperger; brother, William Kapral and his wife Fran; sisters, Corrine Latona and her husband Charles and Maureen Cilberto and her husband Dino; numerous nieces, nephews, and many lifelong friends, especially his good friend and cousin, George Bobb and his wife Kathy.
At his request, there will be no funeral services or calling hours.
Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
