One of the things you can't control in this life is who will be your neighbors. The most you can do is hope for the best. If your neighbors are good, that's a bonus. When that neighbor additionally becomes a very good friend your life is made better. That's how we feel about Bob. I will miss the summer days when we would each be cutting our grass and wave to each other and then share some pretzels and a beer on his porch or on our deck and enjoy the smell of freshly cut grass. We will think of him each time it snows and remember him insisting that we park one of our vehicles in his garage to make snow clearing easier the next day. He didn't have a dog of his own, but he sure loved other people's dogs, including ours. Every time I walked our Miniature Pinscher sisters, the little dogs would strain at the leash and would drag me up Bob's driveway, plop down outside his door and bark until he came outside. Then Dolly would leap into his arms and Darla would jump for joy, Bob smiling big and loving it. You will be sorely missed neighbor AND good friend.

To Bob’s family and girlfriend Donna:
I had the good fortune of meeting Bob in 1981 on our first day of working at Goodwin Motor Group. We have been friends ever since.
My wife and I always enjoyed meeting Bob at 3 Guys on pizza night. He would share with us pictures of his many travels with his girlfriend.
We are saddened by his passing but have nothing but good memories to hold.
Bob was always a class act, true gentleman and good friend.
May he rest in comfort and peace.
