Obituary of Wilbur Henry May

Wilbur May, age 53 of Red Rock, passed away Monday, September 18, 2023 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. He was born in Wilkes-Barre on November 8, 1969 and as the son of the late Ronald and Lillian Walton May. Wilbur attended Lake-Lehman High School and graduated from West Side Vocational Technical School, Pringle. He worked as a mechanic, ran a division of Sunsational Sun Rooms and was the owner and operator of several food trucks. Wilbur enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and working on cars. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Ronald "Pinhead" May, Jr. Wilbur is survived by his girlfriend, Jessica Murphy of Noxen; children, Amanda Tobin, Will and Buck Hunter May; Sisters, Joan and Lori; grandchildren, Angelica Tobin and Veronica and Isabella Redmond. A memorial service will be held later at the family's convenience. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
