Dorene Turner, age 70 of Dallas, passed away Saturday, August 5, 2023 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre.

She was born in Nanticoke on September 8, 1952 and was the daughter of the late James and Delberta Brink.

Dorene attended Lake-Lehman High School and was employed as a home health aide. She was an avid seamstress, quilter and enjoyed attending yard sales.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Paula Welch; son, Jeremy Lamoreaux.

Dorene is survived by her husband of 37 years, Edgar Turner; son, David Lamoreaux and his partner, Heidi Ungureit of Sweet Valley; sister, Kathy Teasenfitz and her husband, Fran of Hanover Twp.; grandchildren, Noah, Christopher, Bianca, Katelynn and Ione; daughter-in-law, Christina Lamoreaux; numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours.

Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
