Obituary of Brenda Lorraine Kenny

Brenda L. Kenny, age 60 of Dallas, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, July 9, 2023 at home.

She was born in Kingston on September 29, 1962 and was the daughter of the late Roseadell Scully.

Brenda graduated from Tunkhannock High School, Class of 1980. She was a loving mother and grandmother to her two children and two grandchildren. Brenda was employed as a bus driver by the Lake-Lehman School District, the Commonwealth Phone Company in Accounts Receiving, and was currently working at Geisinger Health System as a Pharmacy Tech. She was a member of Loyalville United Methodist Church and lived for the summer, sunshine, spending time at the beach and Harveys Lake, and spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Janice Moreck; niece, Heather Stoss; and sister-in-law, Barb Dziwak.

Brenda is survived by her daughters, Amber Fiorelli and her husband Rob and Ashley Kenny and her partner, Mike; brother, George Dziwak; grandchildren, Allison and Hollie; godson, Todd Jones; former husband, James Kenny; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 14, 2023 at 7:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Carol Folk, Loyalville United Methodist Church, officiating.

Visitation will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM before the service on Friday at the Funeral Home.
