Chester Francis Krajewski, age 95 of Sweet Valley, passed away peacefully Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in the Honey Pot Section of Nanticoke on November 3, 1927 and was the son of the late Adam and Joanna Stachowiak Krajewski. Chester was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, World War II and U.S. Army, Korean War. Chester retired from the V.A. Medical Center in Lyons, NJ. He also worked at the Red Rooster in Pikes Creek after moving back to Sweet Valley Area. Chester was a devoted and loving husband to his wife, Amelia Haas Krajewski and a caring, loving father. He is survived by his daughter, Pamela Farber and her husband, James; and son, Michael Krajewski, both of Sweet Valley. Chester is preceded in death by his wife, Amelia; sister, Geraldine Sheeder; and brother, Leonard Krajewski. There will be a private interment with military honors at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, PA. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
