Joseph Stephen Levi, age 84, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, passed away on

March 21, 2013. Born in Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Joseph & Anna

Malak Levi. Also preceding him in death was a brother, William Levi. He is

survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Jean Isopi Levi. Also survived by 3

children: daughter Mary Ann & her husband Andrew Michaels of Myrtle Beach, SC;

son Joseph & his wife Gina of Charlotte, NC; daughter Debra & her husband Gregg

Yankovich of Myrtle Beach, SC. and 4 grandchildren: Marisa Michaels, Nicholas &

Joshua Levi, & Noah Yankovich. Sister-in-law Catherine Carchilla of Charlotte,

NC & Brother-in-law William and his wife Rosemary Isopi of Dallas, PA. He has

several nieces & nephews.

Prior to moving to Myrtle Beach, SC in July 2004, Joseph & his wife resided in

Shavertown, Pa. with their family. He owned & operated the "Chase Nursery" in

Shavertown for 43 years before retiring. He was a Navy Veteran of the Korean

Conflict and belonged to the Daddow-Issacs Post 672 American Legion in Dallas, Pa.

and the Elks Lodge 1771 in Myrtle Beach, SC. Joseph loved the outdoors and was

an avid hunter & fisherman. On Tuesday March 26, 2013, there will be a calling

hour from 10am-11am @ St. Therese's Church, Shavertown Pa., followed by a Mass

of Christian Burial @ 11:00am. He will be laid to rest in Mount Olivet

Cemetery, Wyoming PA.
