Obituary of Kathy Lou Scott

Kathy L. Scott, age 65 of Noxen, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 10, 2011 at the home of her daughter and son-in-law, Patricia and Christopher Engel, of Mountain Top. Mrs. Scott was born May 15, 1946 in Berwick, and was the daughter of the late Preston and June Klinetob Mingus. She graduated from Lake-Lehman High School in 1964 and later graduated from Wilkes-Barre Business College. Prior to retirement, she was employed by Frontier Communications, Dallas. Kathy was talented in making beautiful counter cross-stitched pieces. She also enjoyed being with her family and was an avid reader. She will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 34 years, Raymond Scott. She is also survived by her children: Lori Hendrickson and her husband, Forest, of Clarks Summit; Patricia Engel and her husband, Christopher of Mountain Top and Clinton Stroud and his wife, Tammy, of Sweet Valley; grandchildren: Luke Teetsel, Taylor Engel, Katelyn Engel and Forest Hendickson, V and her dog: Maggie. A memorial service will be scheduled and published at a later date. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 & 118, Pikes Creek.
