Obituary of Nancy Jean Searfoss

Nancy Jean Searfoss, age 59 of Lehman, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Wilkes-Barre on August 24, 1963 and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Gwen London. Nancy attended Lake-Lehman High School. She worked as a bindary assistant at Offset Paperback, Dallas, for many years. Nancy loved landscaping, caring for her flowers, fishing with her husband, George, spending time with her grandchildren, and horsing around with her horses. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers Daniel, Robert, and Donald; and sister, Linda. She is survived by her loving husband, George Phillip Searfoss; daughters, Autumn (Alan) Mauser of New York and Faith (Roy) Daughtrey of Pittston; brother, David London of Swoyersville; grandchildren, Layne, Avery, Torin, and Galen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 7:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Rev. L.D. Reed of the Emmanuel Assembly of God Church, officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the funeral home before the service.
