Obituary of Kenneth Swan

Kenneth D. Swan, age 89 of Idetown, went home to be with his Lord, on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at his home.
He was born in Kingston on November 18, 1933 and was the son of the late Preston and Helen Spencer Swan.
Kenneth graduated from Lehman-Jackson-Ross High School, Class of 1951. He was employed as an electrician for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Local 1319, Wilkes-Barre. Kenneth was a member of the Harveys Lake Rod and Gun Club and the Noxen Bible Baptist Church. He was an avid outdoorsman, including hunting, fishing, and ATV riding.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, the former Elaine Saunders; sons, Scott Swan (Mary Ellen) of Rockaway, NJ, and Dave Swan of Dallas; step-granddaughter, Taylor Ruszczyk of Rockaway, NJ; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Monday, March 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of Routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Ben Hubbell, Noxen Bible Baptist Church, officiating.
Visitation will be Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Kocher Cemetery, Lake Township.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Noxen Bible Baptist Church, 3622 State Route 29, Noxen, PA 18636.
