Janet Czapkowicz, age 68 of Lake Twp., formerly of Greenpoint Brooklyn, NY, passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023 at home, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Brooklyn on September 27, 1954, and was the daughter of the late Stanley and Jozefa Chadziutko.
Janet worked at Chase Manhattan as a teller and then as a church secretary at St. Cyril and Methodius in Brooklyn where she taught CCD classes. She also worked closely with the family wood working business and ran the office of Four Daughters, LLC in Kingston for 14 years. She enjoyed gardening and caring for her pets. Janet was a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Stanislaw; sons, Stanley Czapkowicz and his wife Ewa and Tad Czapkowicz; brother, Stan Chadziutko; grandchildren, Andrew, Isabella and Matthew.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 6, 2023 at 9:30 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am from the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, 2011 State Route 118, Hunlock Creek, PA 18621 with Rev. Brian Van Fossen, officiating.
Visitation will be from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.
Interment will be immediately following the Mass at the National Shrine of Our Lady of Czestochowa Cemetery, 654 Ferry Rd, Doylestown, PA 18901.
