Obituary of Patricia Sue Brody

Patricia Sue Brody, age 64 of Yatesville, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2022 surrounded by her loved ones, following a courageous battle with a serious illness. She was born in Wilkes-Barre on July 10, 1958 and was the daughter of the late Michael and Patricia Engelman Brody. Patricia graduated from Lake-Lehman High School and worked as an IT Specialist with the Social Security Administration for many years until her retirement. She loved shopping, going to craft shows and had a love of cats. Patricia also enjoyed hosting her family and friends at her house. Recently, she enjoyed traveling with her boyfriend, Mikey Hess. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister, Sharon Lee Wilson. She is survived by sister, Barbara Kubereit and her husband, Ernie of Castle Rock, CO; brother, Michael H. Brody and his wife Sherri of Williamstown, NJ; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; her cat, Annie. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
