Emmett R. Milbrodt Obituary

Emmett R. Milbrodt, age 82 of Noxen, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at home.


 


He was born in Kingston on October 23, 1940 and was the son of the late Christ and Rose Fox Milbrodt. Emmett worked at Jack Winters as a recapper for many years and was also an over the road truck driver and operator at Noxen Sand and Gravel. He was a member of the Noxen Volunteer Fire Company. Emmett was an avid hunter, fisherman and all around handyman.


 


In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by wife, Violet; sons, Emmett and John; grandson, Emmett, III.


 


Emmett is survived by sons, Chris and his wife Sandy of Idetown and Mike and his wife Debra of Noxen; grandchildren, Kortnie, Cassie, Michael, Robert and Annie; several great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.


 


Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.


 


Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
