Irma C. Seward, age 81 of Beaumont, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at the Gardens at Tunkhannock. She was born in Kingston on December 20, 1940 and was the daughter of the late James and Mae Sickler. Irma graduated from Dallas Twp. High School, Class of 1958. She was a loving wife, mother and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by son, Randy; and brother-in-law, James Seward. Irma is survived by her husband of 63 years, Charles Seward; son, Mark of Buckwheat Hollow; sister, Irene Seward of Beaumont; grandchildren, Rachel, Ryan (Molly), Savanna, Kyle (Skylar) and their mother, Karen; great-grandchildren, Riley, Lily and Evelyn; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 22, 2022 at 12:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Nate Weaver of the Noxen United Methodist Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Dymond Section of Orcutt's Grove Cemetery, Monroe Township.
