William "Billy" George Walsh, age 53 of Sweet Valley, passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at home. He was born in Kingston on December 17, 1968 and was the son of June Wesly Littleford of Nanticoke and the late Ned Walsh, Sr. Early in his adult life Billy was known for being very passionate and determined in accomplishing whatever he put his mind to. That included excelling in business especially sales, was an avid golfer and enjoyed hosting/planning family events and trips, He loved his family and the many dogs they had throughout the years. He was a faithful Pittsburgh Steelers fan through the good and bad seasons. Most importantly Billy enjoyed making people laugh and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. In his later years Billy developed an addiction that started with prescription medications that he would struggle with until his passing. Even throughout this time he never lost the love for his family, and his desire to make others laugh. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by brother-in-law and former business partner, Brian Suder. Billy is survived by children, William Cody Walsh , Kayla Joy Walsh and her son, Robert "RJ" Schrack, and Kiefer Patrick Walsh, all of Sweet Valley; brothers, Ned (Carol) Walsh of Allentown, Randy (Carol) Walsh of Dallas, Mark (Holly) Walsh of Sweet Valley, Jamie (Nancy) Walsh of Sweet Valley, and Brian Walsh of Alaska; sister, Joy (Brian) Hardiman of Hunlock Creek; step-father, Lee Littleford, Sr of Nanticoke; step-mother, Teresa Walsh of Alaska; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, August 8, 2022 at 12:00 PM from Sweet Valley Church of Christ, 5439 Main Road, Sweet Valley, PA 18656, with Pastor Rocky Bonomo, officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the church before the service. Memorial donations can be made to S.A.F.E (Supporting Autism and Families Everywhere), 100 N. Conahan Drive, Hazelton, PA 18201. Arrangements are by Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
