Obituary of Donna Edith Walker-Pendleton

Donna Edith Boice Walker-Pendelton, 79, of York, PA and born in Kington, PA passed away January 12, 2022 with her family at her side. She was an avid genealogist and spent the last 50+ years researching her family history. She loved to read and do puzzles. Donna attended Lehman Township School, in Lehman, PA and Richard Montgomery High School in Rockville, MD, Class of 1960. Donna was a residential/commercial property management director at Grady Management & Chas E Smith. She also was an Assistant PR Manager, Press room at Electronic Industries Association – Consumer Electronics Shows. She is survived by her mother, Evalyn Kelly of Rockville, MD; her son and daughter-in-law, Kevin and Jamie Walker of Dover PA; her daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Kelly Rice of Byram, MS; Sisters, Evy Weaver (Billy Weaver), Peggy Donahue (Michael Donahue) and Sherry Connell. Grandchildren, Melissa McCloskey, Ashley Sager, Joshua Walker, Jacob Sager, Jessica Snyder and Melinda Rice; 14 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her father, Donald Boice; her brother Harry (Butch) Boice ; her sister Patricia Kelly; grandson, Jason Sager. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a charity of your choosing, in Donna's name. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at 11:00 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Ken Brown of the Noxen United Methodist Church, officiating.
