Betty Rome Prutzman passed away January 12, 2022 She was born January 27, 1948 in Chicago, the daughter of the late Oliver and Betty Rome. She graduated from Dallas High School and Ashland College, OH. She earned her graduate degree at Kent State. She was employed by Merrill Lynch and UGI. After her retirement, she happily volunteered at the Meadows Nursing Home for many years. Betty enjoyed watching Jeopardy and playing Jumble. She always looked forward to the fun times she spent with her high school classmates. She was a loving wife, sister, and aunt. She will be remembered for her fun attitude and kind loving heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Karen Rome Surviving to mourn her loss, are her husband of 31 years, Arthur Prutzman; brothers, Donald Rome (Mae), Edward Rome (Jane) and seven nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses who cared for Betty, and Allied Hospice for the excellent care and compassion given to Betty in her time of need. There will be no funeral or calling hours. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
