Linda Ann Simoson, age 72 of Harveys Lake , passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021 at the Riverstreet Manor, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Wilkes-Barre Twp. on August 19, 1949 and was the daughter of the late Albert Simoson and Romaine Piekanski. Linda attended Lake-Lehman High School. She was employed by Lakeside Nursing Home as a nurse's aide and did some home health care. Linda was an excellent cook and was an avid Denver Broncos and New York Yankees fan. She enjoyed spending time with her grandfather, Albert, her grandmother, Katherine and causing trouble with her cousin, Les. Linda is survived by children, Kim Hazeltine and her husband Dave, Michael Simoson, Jason Simoson and his wife Jamie and Traci Simoson; siblings, Michael Piekanski, Cynthia Westerholm, Albert Simoson, III and David Simoson; grandchildren, Anthony, Ted, Ashley, Michael, Jacob, Jessica and Jonathan; 4 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be private and there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek. Memorial donations can be made to the SPCA of Luzerne County, 524 E. Main St., Wilkes-Barre, PA 18702.
