Obituary of Joyce Elaine Williams

Joyce Elaine Williams, age 85 of Harveys Lake, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was born in Wilkes-Barre on March 23, 1936 and was the daughter of the late Charles and Viola Peters Cavill. Joyce resided at Harveys Lake for most of her life and was employed by K-Mart since 1974. She was a member of the Our Lady of Victory Church. Her enjoyment was nature and animals. Joyce was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by husband, Fay Williams and brothers, Charles and Gary. Joyce is survived by children, Daniel Williams, Tim Williams, Terri Novak and Joy Carey; brother, Jerry; sisters, Bonnie Sulkas, Judy Redington, Sandra Teetsel and Diane Nichols; 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be private and there will be no calling hours. Arrangements are by the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.
