Cindy J. Parsons, age 64 of Hunlock Creek, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2021 at the Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center, Wilkes-Barre. She was born in Wilkes-Barre on January 8, 1957 and was the daughter of Dale Ide and the late Doris Everetts Ide. Cindy graduated from Dallas High School. She enjoyed sewing, music, dancing and loved spending time with her grandchildren. Cindy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Howard Parsons; children, Howard E. Parsons and his wife Sandra, Janel Parsons, Kimberly Peiffer and her husband Jeffrey and Kody Parsons; grandchildren, Crystal, Jocelyn, Zach, Kyle, Nathen, Makenzi, Alexandra, Cynthia and Alivia; siblings, Donald Geiger, Teresa Fox and her husband Anthony and Lisa Reilly and her husband Mike; several nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, November 5, 2021 at 6:00 PM from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 118 and 29, Pikes Creek, with Pastor Dan Brubaker of the Roaring Brook Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
