Obituary of Grace Lutz

Grace "Gracie" Lutz, age 81, of Forty Fort passed away September 25, 2021 at the Mountain View Care Center Scranton where she was a guest for the last five months. Grace was born in Harvey's Lake on September 2, 1940, and was the daughter of the late Leland and Theodora (Lubinski) Grey. She graduated from the Lake Noxen High school in 1958. She was a lifelong member of the Outlet Bible Tabernacle Church. Grace was preceded in death by sisters, Janet Elko, Rosedell Scully, and Milly O'brien; brothers, Paul and Tim Grey; and several nieces and nephews. Grace is survived by her daughter, Heidi Konkus (Jim Mcintire) of Forty Fort; granddaughters, Melanie (CJ) of Dallas and Nicole Konkus of Hudson; grandson, Derek Konkus of Forty Fort; the loves of her life, her great granddaughters, Abby Konkus and Rosie Morrissey; sisters, Marsha Cragle and Jayne McDermott; brothers, Blynn and Daniel Grey; and several nieces and nephews whom she loved and was adored by. Grace was "Mom" and "Gram" to so many, she was the most loving and caring person you could meet. She would help anyone in any way she could. During her lifetime, Grace met many people being a bus driver for Lake Lehman Schools in the 70's and many years as an insurance agent. Grace was best known as a clerk at Turkey Hill in Forty Fort where after 25 years of service, she had to leave due to being diagnosed with Lewy Body Dementia. The family would like to thank Robin Williams and Peggy Cosimo for taking the best care of their mom for the last year, she loved you both. She will be sadly missed by so many. A Memorial Service held October 9, 2021 at 3:00 PM from the Outlet Bible Tabernacle Church, 468 Lehman-Outlet Road Dallas PA 18612.
