Obituary of Patricia Ann Muchukot

Patricia Ann Muchukot, age 79, resident of the Meadows Nursing Center, formerly of Edwardsville, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. Ms. Muchukot was born in Plymouth on July 9, 1937 and was the daughter of the late Edward and Anna Uravich Muchukot. Patricia graduated from Plymouth High School in 1954. She was employed by the former Rex Shoes in Exeter for several years and later worked at the former Leader Nursing Home in Kingston. Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandson, Cole. She also enjoyed cooking and going out for dinner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by numerous aunts and uncles. Patricia is survived by daughter, Ann Marie Sorber and her husband Kenneth of Lehman; beloved grandson, Cole Sorber; aunt, Dolores Myers of Plymouth and Celia Care, whom she considered her second daughter. Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 18, 2016 at 9:30 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with A Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am from the Gate of Heaven Church, 40 Machell Ave, Dallas, PA 18612, with Rev. Daniel Toomey, officiating. Friends may call 6:00 - 8:00 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek.
