Lenore Whitesell Cragle-Frazier, age 81 of Houston, TX, passed away July 7, 2016.

She was born on March 20, 1935 in Ashley, Pennsylvania, to Fred and Jean Hannis Whitesell.

She married Arthur Lewis Cragle on June 26, 1954 in Pennsylvania. The couple raised 4 boys, mostly in Iowa, and Art died in 1981. In 1984 Lenore then married Oliver ("Bud") Frazier who passed away in 2014.

She was known as a speaker, singer, and host of a radio program for women on KNWS radio in Waterloo, Iowa. She was full of faith, joy, and love for others.

Having lived a life filled with the fruit of the Spirit, Lenore daily embraced her Lord's promise - "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Jer. 29:11 (NIV).

In addition to her parents and husbands, Lenore was preceded in death by an infant son, Joel.

She is survived by sons David, Stephen, Scott, and Jonathan; ten grandchildren; and eight siblings, Carol, Leon, Anne, John, Alice, Roger, Janet and Fred, Jr.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 1:30 p.m., Living Word Baptist Church, 40 Hess Lane, Sweet Valley (Fairmount Township), PA 18656, with Rev. Raymond D. Purdy, Jr., officiating.

Friends may call on Friday from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek.

Interment at Oakdale Cemetery, Hunlock Creek.
