Obituary of Dorothy Barbara Miliauskas

Dorothy Barbara Miliauskas, 85, of Dallas, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2016 at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital. She was born in Plymouth on February 14, 1931 and was the daughter of the late Paul and Catherine Kuczala Suscavage. Dorothy graduated from Harter High School in 1948 and was a member of Our Lady of Victory Church, Harveys Lake. She was a proud mother and grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Jacob, John, Frank, Joseph, and Edward; and six sisters, Nell (Angela) Bistrichan, Ann Roberti, Mary Demnicki, Clara Oley, Katherine Strish, and Helen Zeankowski. Dorothy is survived by her husband of 54 years, John Miliauskas; sons, John Miliauskas, III and his wife Sarah of Glen Rock, and their children, Ava and Ella, and Jim Miliauskas and his wife Rene' of Johnstown, and their children, Jimmy, Matthew, and Julie; daughters, Nancy Gillespie and her husband Gregory of Langhorne, and their children, Gregory, Jr. and Riley, and Debbie Henderson and her husband Nick of Galena, OH, and their children, Alexandria, Gabrielle, and Nicholas, Jr.; and one brother, Paul Suscavage of Plymouth. Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 16, 2016 at 10:30 am from the Curtis L. Swanson Funeral Home, Inc., corner of routes 29 and 118, Pikes Creek, with A Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am from the Our Lady Of Victory Church, 16 Second St., Harveys Lake, PA 18618 with Rev. Daniel Toomey, officiating. Friends may call 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bear Creek Twp.
